Pernia's Pop-Up Studio hosts Wedding Vastra at Fort store, Mumbai

On Dec. 13, Pernia’s Pop-Up Studio held a wedding pop-up shopping event at its store in Kala Ghoda in Fort, Mumbai.

The wedding Vastra event at the Fort Pernia’s Pop-Up Studio was a one-stop-shop for winter nuptials. The event spotlighted two designers, Pranay Baidya and Riddhi Majithia, whose designs featured exclusively in store.

Pranay Baidya presented his latest menswear collection at the event featuring an array of bright, printed kurtas. Every colour in the rainbow featured with abstract, floral, and traditional inspired prints. Baidya’s line also retails from Pernia’s Pop-Up Store, the e-commerce business that started Pernia Qureshi’s growing empire.

Womenswear was provided by Riddhi Majithia with a selection of pastel hued lehengas and gowns. The brand, launched in 2014 and also available online at Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop, had a mix of playful designs with polka dots in primary hues and more classic white creations. Majithia also showcased a range of bridal menswear including Bandhgala jackets and kurtas.

The pop-up shop ran from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. in-store. The Fort Pernia’s Pop-Up Store features “The Bridal Collective”, a wedding centred section that features a number of designers and that will run a number of promotions this wedding season.
