Pernia's Pop-Up Shop holds showcase event for Nupur Kanoi

Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop held an exclusive collection showcase for womenswear brand Nupur Kanoi at its Bandra West store in Mumbai. The multi-brand luxury Indian fashion retailer’s party and curated display for the eponymous designer drew a crowd full of Mumbai fashion personalities. 

“Nupur Kanoi walked us through her collections at Pernia's Pop-Up Studio, Turner Road, Mumbai,” announced Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop on Facebook on December 21, sharing images of the soiree. “We cannot help but be pleased by the excellent turnout. Here are some memorable moments from the day, featuring people in attendance with the lady of the hour.”
 
Guests gathered to browse through Kanoi’s latest ethnic wear collection ‘Sheesha’ which mixes bohemian nonchalance with glamour and sparkle. Guests were also dressed in party wear looks from the collection, ranging from abstract floral prints to more muted botanical line-work prints of the other collection included in the event, Japanese-inspired ‘Ukiyo’. 

Embellishments included mirror work, embroidery, and trims for the more boho looks while silky draping added extra femininity to the more modern looks. Following the showcase event, the collection will continue to retail from Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop’s Turner Road store. 
 
Nupur Kanoi launched her eponymous brand in 2006 and describes her designs as, “India modern fusion resort wear”, on her brand’s Instagram page. The brand retails from its dedicated e-commerce store and in multi-brand boutiques.
