Peppermint Kids is gearing up to launch Cocobutter, a new brand for young girls - Peppermint Kids- Facebook

Peppermint Kids aims to further tap into India’s booming children’s wear market with a new brand launch, the business announced on Facebook. The new line will feature gowns and traditional wear-inspired pieces for its range of occasion wear.

However, the range has been a long time coming, due to the complexities of the market and production process.

“Choosing the right assortment, price point, size ratio, colour, silhouette, and offering them to a diverse range of consumers is challenging,” Peppermint’s managing director, Santosh Katariya, told DFU Publications.

Peppermint also recently launched its autumn/winter 2019 collection 'Bits of Fun' for girls and boys. The collection features a range of casual wear including leggings, outerwear, dresses, trousers, and accessories. Products are priced from Rs 1,500 ($21.05).

Peppermint launched in 2006 and currently counts six exclusive brand outlets, and has a presence in over 225 large format stores and over 1,000 multi-brand outlets. It is also sold on numerous multi-brand e-commerce platforms including Myntra, Amazon, and Flipkart. The brand is also gearing up to launch its dedicated website.
