Pepperfry opens first studio in Marathahalli, Bengaluru
Online furniture, homeware, and home textiles retailer Pepperfry has opened its first brick-and-mortar studio outlet in Marathahalli, Bengaluru as it works to build an omni-channel business and penetrate niche markets.
Pepperfry’s new studio store has launched in collaboration with Wooden, the brand announced in a press release on June 14. The franchise retail space measures 1,550 square feet and houses a selection of the one lakh products available on Pepperfry’s e-commerce store.
“We are delighted to launch our new Studio in Marathahalli in partnership with local business Wooden,” said Pepperfry’s business head of franchising and alliances, Amruta Gupta in a press release. “Owning a Pepperfry franchise is an entrepreneurial success, and we aim to reach consumers beyond the larger catchment areas of metropolitan and Tier 1 cities. Our franchise partners include a mix of successful businesses, women entrepreneurs, ex-army officials and first-time entrepreneurs. Today a large part of our Pepperfry customer interactions leverage AR and virtual product interactions. With our mission to spark a feeling called home across the world, we endeavour to consistently deliver great customer service.”
The store’s interior design consultants are on hand to offer shoppers advice on how to conceptualise their living spaces. With its latest franchise launch, Pepperfry now counts over 160 studios across over 80 Indian cities.
“We are delighted to partner with Pepperfry,” said Wooden owner Nisha Ruparel. “The company has created a differentiated omnichannel business and we hope that our association will help service customers better.”
