The bootstrapped children’s wear business Peekaboo Dreams is looking to expand from retailing from its own e-commerce store. The brand aims to build a presence on numerous e-commerce platforms to help it to reach a wider audience.

“We are in the process of building our e-store on Amazon India and a few more e-store platforms,” the brand’s founder Poonam Naik told FashionNetwork.com. “These are exciting times for online retail… [we] would like to create solid base of trust and connect for our brand along with consistency of quality and design and then hit accelerate.”

One of the brand’s main marketing points is that it uses all lead-free dyes for printing its garments. Not only is using lead-free dyes good for the environment, it also reduces the risk of skin allergies, according to the brand’s press release.

Currently focusing on sleepwear, the brand caters to children aged between six months and five years. The brand’s initial offerings include organic cotton pyjamas and tunics that use traditional sewing techniques and feature bright and whimsical prints.

Entrepreneur Poonam Naik launched Peekaboo Dreams amongst friends and family in November 2018. Following a positive response, Naik launched her brand online with a dedicated e-commerce store.
