Paytm Mall strengthens its leadership team

Paytm Mall, owned by Paytm E-Commerce, has strengthened its leadership team with the addition of several executives from various different start-ups and e-commerce firms. The new appointees are expected to boost the company’s business, technology, and product development verticals.

In July, the company had appointed four senior vice-presidents to strengthen its technology, brand relationships, and omni-channel strategy.

This time, Paytm has managed to get senior executives like Srinivas Mothey from Giftingnation, Milind Pathak from Httpool, Nikhil Dhoka from BrownTape, Utkrisht Kumar from Hopscotch and Rohan Chhazed from ZoomCar, among others.

Commenting on the new appointments, Amit Sinha, COO of Paytm Mall, in a statement said, “With the recent addition to our senior management, we are strengthening our business team to expand our operations, build innovative solutions and offer more consumer-focused products and services.
 
“We believe start-up leaders are well-versed in a company’s growth journey, have the expertise to build new things and understand the need for fast execution. With our new team members, we will continue expanding the Paytm Mall portfolio and keep scaling newer heights,” he added.
 
Paytm Mall, backed by China's Alibaba Group, has been on a hiring spree this year as it looks to take on e-commerce biggies like Amazon and Flipkart in India. Patym Mall is currently the third-biggest player in India's rapidly-growing online retail space.
