Payal Singhal launches perfume with All Good Scents
Payal Singhal has collaborated with the perfumer brand All Good Scents by Rajiv Sheth to create a scent called Tender Intense: Couture Edition.
Following an eight month development process, the perfume by Payal Singhal and All Good Scents has come to fruition. The perfume is called Tender Intense: Couture Edition and comes in an Art Deco inspired bottle with top notes of raspberry and Moroccan orange. Now launched on All Good Scents’ own e-commerce store, the scent retails for 1,400 for 50ml.
“In our country, we don’t really have designer fragrances coming from a fashion house, which is popular in the West,” said Sheth. This collaboration aims to be a step in this direction. A men’s scent is also planned for the end of the year implying that this collaboration could be built to last.
Singhal said about the project: “The perfume market is very different in India— there are brand loyalists and very few people talk about the fragrance before the designer name associated with it.”
She elaborated: “The idea [for All Good Scents]… was to work on a collaboration with someone from the design industry to get some visibility, and a beautiful fragrance that will make people gravitate towards it. They felt that we had a good mix of being traditional and modern, which is something they stand for as well. We also agreed to come on board when we realised that their brand philosophy matches our cultural philosophy.”
