Designer Payal Singhal has recently taken her brand to the U.S., as well as Mumbai and Bengaluru, bringing her collections to a new audience with pop-up stores.
Singhal hosted a two-day pop-up for her 'Sanat' collection and 'House Signatures' from July 26 to 27 at the Hyatt Centric Times Square in New York. The event was held in partnership with The Mall at Oak Tree and had a special focus on bridal wear. Guests from across the U.S. city visited along with a slew of influencers.
Following this, Singhal also hosted a pop-up in collaboration with the footwear and accessories brand Fizzy Goblet on August 2 at the Fizzy Goblet flagship store at Palladium in Mumbai. Shoppers had the chance to meet Singhal, along with Fizzy Goblet’s designer Laksheeta Govil at the pop-up, in addition to shopping both brand’s latest festive collections. The pop-up also featured a children’s wear and menswear edit.
Finally, on August 3, Singhal jetted to Bengaluru to host Spicy Sangria at the city’s Hotel Shanghai-La. Hosted by Spicy Sangria Events, the pop-up featured the brand’s Pret, Indian Wear, and Bridal lines and was part of the brand’s 'PS Travelling Trunk Show'.
Payal Singhal launched her eponymous brand in 1999 and runs a flagship store in Mumbai, as well as retail outlets in other parts of India, Hong Kong, the Middle East, and the U.S. The brand also retails from a dedicated e-commerce store and makes both couture and ready-to-wear garments.
