Paul Metcalf leaves Burlington Stores

Burlington Stores Inc., a retailer of branded apparel products in the United States, announced Wednesday that executive vice president and chief merchandising officer Paul Metcalf has resigned from the company.

Metcalf had served as executive VP and chief merchandising officer of Burlington Stores, Inc., since April 2012. Prior to that he was with The TJX Companies, Inc., serving first as and general merchandise manager menswear followed by senior vice president and chief merchandising officer of women’s apparel. He began his career with The May Department Stores Co., where he held various merchandising positions.

Burlington disclosed the executive's resignation in a regulatory filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission but didn’t provide additional details. No information regarding a successor has been released either.
