The Japanese brand presented its latest menswear collection this Thursday, January 22 at the Fondation Cartier in Paris. Graphic prints and fluid fabrics set the tone in this Fall-Winter 2015-2016 line.

As usual, Issey Miyake has pulled off a brilliant combination of comfort and elegance in its latest menswear designs. Today's show revealed ultra-modern, free-flowing pieces -- often with a sportswear feel -- along with a few more traditional items, which still played upon different fabric textures for a relaxed yet chic style.

Overall, the looks are long and the tailoring is ample, in keeping with Issey Miyake's inherent focus on preserving freedom of movement. Chunky knits are seen alongside textured velvet, while bright colors (plenty of rich reds and blues) are combined masterfully with greys and blacks.

There are also light touches of fuchsia, as well as geometric prints. During the show, both of these details were seen among other places in the socks, which were front and center in certain looks. Baggy bottoms -- from sweatpants to harem pants -- also play a key role in the new collection.
