“My collection, 'Two Halves', is inspired by the undiscovered artist inside each one of us,” said designer Parinitha M.N., according to her brand’s press release.

“Through this collection, I hope to inspire someone to bring out the artist in them.”

The collection is made up of 12 looks and has a colour palette of contrasting colours including black and white and purple and orange and uses a mix of appliqués and digital printing.

Pariha’s runway show will take place as part of the Global Fashion Collective’s first ever Paris event. The organisation has previously held showcases alongside Vancouver Fashion Week and Pariha took part in its event in Canada last year.

“Since I had done a show with them last year, this had to be the next big step,” said Parinitha.

Parinitha M.N. Launched Pariha in 2016 after graduating from the National Institute of Fashion Technology Bangalore in 2012.

“I feel sad how easily people have forgotten how rich India culturally is, because we're all running fast into the future and replacing the old,” said Parinitha. “I want people to stop, think and realise how amazing our roots are.”

Pariha has also showcased in India including as part of Bangalore fashion week.
