With the fashion show, Parfait also officially announced its entry into the Indian market. The plus-size fashion show saw women from different age groups walking in Parfait’s new collection. Bollywood actress Zareen Khan was the showstopper at the event.

Speaking on the launch CEO and co-founder, Ken Zhang, said: “In line with Parfait’s commitment to producing beautiful lingerie for all body shapes the fashion featured a wide spectrum of body types, highlighting Parfait key designs and size offered for Indian plus size women."

Sharing her experience on walking down the ramp Ms. Zareen Khan added: “Lingerie is not one-size-fits-all, and neither are the women who wear it both on and off the runway. It is great to see Parfait celebrating size inclusivity.”

Parfait will be investing $4 million (28 crore) in its first year on retail expansion across India through 150 shop-in-shops and exclusive outlets as it looks to gain a larger market share in the $3 billion Indian lingerie market.

Parfait will be launching its first exclusive store in Vasant Kunj, Delhi, followed by an exclusive store in Mumbai. The company currently has a presence in over 20 countries through 700 stores and online stores.
