Known for its bright and eclectic designs, Papa Don’t Preach brought its new Radio Gaga collection of colourful designs to Bandra for an event on November 6 at the Dryfix Hairstyling Club in Pali Hill. The event had a special focus on vegan and cruelty-free fashion and synced with the brand’s instagram launch of the collection, according to the brand’s press release.

Radio Gaga is inspired by the 1970s and 1980s and features mixed prints, playsuits, bomber jackets, and separates as well as accessories such as belts, bags, and shoes. Garments in the collection are priced between Rs 10,500 ($147.34) to Rs 35,000.

Notable guests at the event included Anushka Rajan, Sherry Shroff, Hanna Khan, and Curato founders Tanisha Agarwal and Shibani Bhagat among others. The brand also donated Rs 500 from every sale at the event to the Pune-based animal charity RESQ.

Speaking about the aim of the event in a press release, Davda said, “we want them [customers] to experience the Papa Don't Preach world and all that it encompasses - right from the music, the colours, the vegan desserts , the signature scent and the installation of radios and transistors with theatrical balloons at the venue - it all had to give them a taste of what the collection is all about.”
