Pageant winners walk the runway at Chennai Leather Fashion Show

A number of beauty pageant winners walked the runway for the latest edition of the annual Chennai Leather Fashion Show held at the city’s ITC Grand Chola. The fashion show ran in tandem with the India International Leather Fair.

Chennai’s annual Leather Fashion Show sees an array of brands present their wares on the runway to showcase the area’s leather fashion and craftsmanship. This year womenswear, menswear, and children’s wear featured with both clothing and accessories on display.

The runway show, which took place at the beginning of the month, featured a number of notable beauty pageant winners including the FDD Colors Femina Miss India United Continents 2018 winner Gayatri Bhardwaj and the FDD Colors Femina Miss India World 2018 winner Anukreethy Vas. Shreya Rao Kamavarapu, the FBB Colors Femina Miss India 2018 second runner up, Nehal Chudasama, the Yamaha Fascino Miss Diva Universe 2018, and Roshni Sheoran the Yamaha Fascino Miss Diva 2018 runner up all walked the runway wearing glittering crowns. 

The fashion show took place alongside the IILF which took place in Chennai from February 1 to 3 and held it 34th edition at the Chennai Trade Centre. The business to business trade show saw leather manufacturers network with buyers and distributors from around the world. The event is organised by the India Trade Promotion Organization.
