Page Industries Limited sees FY22 Q4 net profit increase 64.86%

Clothing manufacturer Page Industries Limited saw its net profit increase year-on-year by 64.86% to total Rs 190.52 crore in the fourth quarter of the 2022 financial year, the business announced on May 26.

The business’ net profit had increased from Rs 115.56 crore in the fourth quarter of the 2021 financial year, it wrote in a regulatory filing, accessed by the Press Trust of India. Page Industries also saw its revenue from operations increase by 26.15% to reach Rs 1,111.11 crore during the fourth quarter of the 2022 fiscal, up from Rs 880.76 crore a year before. 
 
Page Industries total expenses rose by 18.58% year-on-year from 733.69 crore in the fourth quarter of the 2021 fiscal to Rs 870.04 crore in the fourth quarter of  financial year 2022. Results for the entire 2022 financial year also showed a year-on-year net profit increase of 57.53% to total Rs 536.53 crore. Revenue from operations was also up 37.18% at Rs 3,886.46 crore. 

The business is the exclusive licensee of menswear brand Jockey International Inc and manufactures, distributes, and markets the brand in India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Oman, Qatar, the Maldives, Bhutan, and the UAE. The business is also the exclusive licensee of Speedo International in India.
