The Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council has registered over 8,000 jewellery industry and related businesses and 12,000 visitors in its first phase of registration for its upcoming trade show India International Jewellery Show Signature.

Due to strong industry demand, the first phase of visitor registration has been extended to November 30, the GJEPC announced on Facebook. High levels of interest ahead of the event suggests that it was a well planned decision to extent the trade show from four days to five this edition.

IIJS Signature will take place from January 5 to 9, 2023 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai. The India Gem and Jewellery Machinery Expo will run concurrently at the same venue to demonstrate jewellery manufacturing technology and machinery to manufacturers and businesses from both India and abroad.

The GJEPC has promised that this edition of IIJS Signature will be as big in terms of participation and scale as its flagship trade show IIJS Premiere. “This year the show is even bigger and better than the last year,” the organisation announced on Facebook. “The show is hosting six stalls as compared to previous year.”

IIJS Signature will feature product categories including gold jewellery, diamonds and diamond jewellery, silver jewellery, and gemstone jewellery among others. The event is designed to enable Indian manufacturing businesses to network with international wholesalers, retailers, and importers to boost their international business.
