The Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council has launched phase two of registration for its upcoming Mumbai trade show, it announced on Facebook. IIJS Signature, which will run for four days at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, will bring together Indian jewellery manufacturers and domestic and international buyers and distributors. The aim of the event is to facilitate networking, enable businesses to expand their distribution networks, and spark trend forecasting for 2022.

The trade show will run with a range of Covid-19 prevention measures in place. All visitors and exhibitors must show they have had two doses of a recognised Covid-19 vaccine to enter the venue, the GJEPC announced on Facebook. Despite a recent sure in Covid-19 cases in certain countries, the GJEPC expects strong international participation.

“If there’s one thing that retailers understand better than most, it’s the importance of a location,” said Joyalukkas India Limited’s CMD Joy Alukkas about the upcoming event, the GJEPC reported.

“A venue like Jio World will undoubtedly attract the country’s top-tier manufacturers. I’m eager to visit this world-class facility in the New Year.”
