Other Hadid sister launches eyewear

Alana Hadid is the latest Hadid sibling to get in on the fashion game. Gigi and Bella’s half-sister just launched an eyewear line with their father, Mohamed Hadid.

Hadid Eyewear launched this morning with a current offering of six different unisex styles of sunglasses. In keeping up with the Hadid clan, the shades are inspired by the jetsetting lifestyle, bearing names like “Passport Control”, “Mile High”, “Nomad”, and “Frequent Flyer”. Prices for the collection range from $149 to $169 USD.

This is the first time the eldest Hadid has really stepped out into the spotlight. While half-siblings Gigi, Bella, and recently their brother Anwar, have made waves in the fashion industry through their high-profile modelling gigs, Alana has kept a lower profile, working as a personal shopper.

5 percent of every pair sold goes towards supporting The Vision of Children Foundation, a charity that gives sight to children with vision impairments.

The products will be available at Hadid Eyewear’s website, as well as on Shopbop and Revolve.
