Onitsuka Tiger opens its biggest store in India
The Japanese sportswear brand Onitsuka Tiger has strengthened its retail presence in the Indian market with the opening of one of its biggest stores in the country in the national capital, New Delhi.
The store located at the Pacific Mall, Tagore Garden is spread across an area of 1,500 square feet, housing the latest collection of shoes, apparel, and accessories. With the opening of this store, the mall owner expects footfall to increase, especially during the upcoming festive season.
Commenting on the launch, Abhishek Bansal, executive director at Pacific Group (owner of the Pacific Mall), in a statement said: “We are glad to see the response received by the store during the launch day, and are looking forward to attract all our buyers towards a niche brand like Onitsuka Tiger, known for their skilled work in leather products.”
Onitsuka Tiger, founded by Kihachiro Onitsuka in 1949 in Japan, continues to expand in India with its latest store and product line launch. It retails an array of training and running shoes and sneakers as well as a range of sportswear inspired ready to wear.
