Ogaan holds launch for Anamika Khanna in Delhi

Multi-brand luxury Indian fashion boutique Ogaan launched womenswear designer Anamika Khanna’s latest bridal wear collection at its Hauz Khas and Emporio stores in New Delhi on February 7 with a dedicated event. 

On Tuesday, shoppers in New Delhi had a first look at Anamika Khanna’s new collection, a more experimental range of wedding and occasion attire, Ogaan announced on Facebook. The launch event followed on from a pop-up event Ogaan held at The Oberoi Hotel over the weekend which presented an array of spring and bridal collections ahead of the upcoming season, also from brands including Lajjoo and Jayanti Reddy. The ‘Ogaan at the Oberoi’ showcase was promoted with influencer Tarini Manchnda who wore an ensemble from Anamika Khanna’s new collection. 
 
Anamika Khanna’s new collection features a mix of bright hues, jewel tones, and more ethereal tones with classic lehengas juxtaposed against more fusion style silhouettes. The collection features heavy metallic embellishments, fluid textiles, and botanical motifs. Notable looks include floor-length coats with 3D embellishments and off the shoulder gowns with loose drapes. 

Anamika Khanna is an established womenswear designer who has diversified her offering in recent years by launching youthful ready-to-wear label AK-OK and stepping into menswear. The brand is based in Kolkata where is has a flagship store, along with in Delhi and Mumbai. The brand also retails through its e-commerce store and in multi-brand boutiques.
