New clothing brand OG & Co has stepped into active wear and launched a men’s and women’s athleisure line made from sustainable materials including hemp, bamboo and beech wood.

The new line is designed to appeal to eco-conscious, Gen Z consumers who require performance wear made for “conscious comfort”. With garments made in India, the brand aims to, “bridge the gap between the variety and playfulness of fast fashion and the want to be environmentally conscious,” OG & Co announced in a press release on November 1. The line retails on the brand’s recently launched e-commerce store.

“Every consumption act should be in favour of conserving our planet, and OG & Co is my way of giving consumers a chance to make that choice when it comes to their activewear,” said brand founder Urshila Rao Ganji in a press release. “You know what they say– there’s nothing better than the OG.”

The athleisure collection has a colour palette of coral, light blue, black, and nude and mixes sporty staples such as elasticated shorts and hoodies with more dressy items such as halter and crop tops for women and streamline separates for men. Garments are designed to be wearable for sport or casual wear and the brand’s cartoon style logo features on the back of hoodies for a graphic touch.
