Officina39 aims to mix convenience with sustainability with its new dyeing solution, launched in Bangladesh on Tuesday, the business announced in a press release on May 16. RecycromTM Ready to Dye enables businesses to create their own hues from a palette of 15 darker and brighter ready-in-stock colours. Brands can collaborate with Officina39 to mix custom colours from their own scraps and textile waste to promote sustainability.

“It was 2017 when Officina39, the Italian company specialising in the sustainable conversion of chemistry applied to textiles, revolutionised the dyeing processes in the industry patenting RecycromTM: a full range of pigment powders 100% derived from recycled used clothing, fibrous material and textile scraps, obtained through a cutting-edge mechanical upcycling process,” announced the business in a press release. “Officina39 has never stopped developing this key technology to provide brands with more and more sustainable options to colour their collections: to meet the needs of its customers once again, RecycromTM Ready to Dye has now come to be.”

The Bangladesh Denim Expo runs from May 16 to 17 at the International Convention City Bashundhara. The trade show features over 90 participating businesses from across the world this edition.
