Nysaa Retail targets Rs 1,100 crore revenue by 2021

Nysaa Retail, which owns the fashion and general items store chain 1-India Family Mart, will be adding 80 stores across the country with an aim to generate Rs 1,100 crore (approx $157 million) revenue by 2020-21.

The company will focus on the north east market for growth and majority of its stores are expected to open in the north eastern states. Along with its retail expansion, 1-India Family Mart will also be taking the omni-channel route this year.
 
"We plan to invest about Rs 100 crore to add 80 new stores by the financial year 2020-21. In the next phase of expansion, we will focus on the north east. We are also looking at clocking turnover of Rs 1,100 crore in two years time," J P Shukla, the founder and Chief Executive Officer of 1-India Family Mart, told PTI.

“The 1-India Family Mart is looking at adopting omni-channel retail (combination of offline and online) distribution and plans to pilot a project for this,” he added.
 
In the 2018 fiscal year, Nysaa Retail Private Limited reported revenue of Rs 235 crore and is expected to close the current fiscal with a turnover of Rs 420 crore.
 
Nysaa Retail through its 1-India Family Mart stores sells a variety of casual wear and traditional wear along with FMCG products. It currently has 80 stores spread across the tier 2, 3 cities in India.
