Nykaa teams up with influencers for mini-series
Multi-brand beauty retailer Nykaa has teamed up with a number of beauty influencers to launch an interactive mini-series, ‘The Beauty Bar’, on its ‘Nykaa Network’ to boost online engagement.
Nykaa has been running an array of interactive digital initiatives to keep in touch with its customer base since lockdowns began last year. The business’ new mini tutorial series The Beauty Bar will see influencers give tips using products available on Nykaa’s e-commerce platform to give advice to shoppers preferring to stay home and act as a replacement for the consultations they would receive in-store.
As part of the series, celebrity makeup artist Ojas Rajani will teach a ‘Wedding Guest Look’ masterclass on January 16, the business announced on Facebook. The session will focus on makeup tips and trends for the upcoming wedding season.
Vibhuti Arora will teach a skincare masterclass named ‘Skin Revival 2021’ also on January 16 to showcase trending skincare techniques with a focus on holistic and natural skincare. Arora will teach viewers on how to use face tools for health and skincare, promoting the range Nykaa has available online.
The brand has a number of other ongoing online initiatives including beauty-themed horoscope readings and other tutorials from its in-house team of makeup artists.
Nykaa has seen its online sales bounce back from the halt to business during lockdown last year. The brand has also restarted its brick-and-mortar expansion with new stores opening in Thrissur and Thiruvananthapuram, among other locations.
