Nykaa strengthens leadership team to fuel growth

Beauty and fashion retailer Nykaa has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of several new senior leaders across technology, finance, business, and marketing to fuel its next phase of growth.

The company has appointed Rajesh Uppalapati to lead the technology vertical as the chief technology officer. Abhishek Awasthi, Eswar Perla, Dhruv Mathur and Amit Kulshrestha have also joined the technology leadership team.

In the finance, legal & regulatory teams, Nykaa has appointed P Ganesh as the chief financial officer while Sujeet Jain has been named the company's chief legal & regulatory officer. T V Venkataraman has joined the team to handle the internal audit & risk management charter.

In the business vertical, Vishal Gupta has been appointed as the head of beauty consumer business while Dr Sudhakar Y Mhaskar has been named chief R&D and quality officer.

The company’s marketing team appointments include Sudhansh Kumar as lead performance marketing, Priya Bellubbi as lead customer lifecycle management and Suchita Salwan as the lead for content.

Commenting on the appointments, Falguni Nayar, founder CEO at Nykaa in a statement said, “We are excited to welcome each of these new leaders in key roles that drive the company's important businesses and functions.”

“With a common entrepreneurial ethos and mindset, this leadership team is well poised for success as the Nykaa ecosystem expands in scope and scale,” she added.

With the new appointments, Nykaa has a leadership team of over 50 leaders and expects the team to drive the company’s growth in the future.
