Nykaa opens third store in Hyderabad

Multi-brand beauty retailer Nykaa has opened a store in Hyderabad’s Jubilee Hills. The Nykaa Luxe store, which focuses on premium brands, is Nykaa’s third store in the metro.

As Nykaa restarts its store expansion following the pan-India lockdown, it opened a new store in Hyderabad, after recently opening a retail outlet in Ahmedabad, the brand announced on Facebook. The store features Nykaa’s signature Luxe branding in black and hot pink.

The store features Indian and international brands including Estee Lauder, Clinique, Bobbi Brown, Smashbox, Huda Beauty, Kay Beauty, Too Faced, Dolce & Gabbana, Montblanc, Giorgio Armani, and Versace. The store also has a dedicated section to Nykaa’s private label brand Nykaa Beauty.

Nykaa had been opening stores and kiosks at a fast pace prior to the coronavirus pandemi, but had to halt its expansion due to government regulations. Nykaa’s founder, Falguni Nayar, said in summer that she plans to continue Nykaa’s brick-and-mortar expansion plan with just a few months delay. The brand also expects its physical stores to reach pre-pandemic sales by the end of the year.

The brand recently launched Murad Skincare online, a brand which specialises in formulations with added vitamin supplements. Nykaa has also teamed up with Netflix to launch a video series sharing the stores of several inspiring women.
