Nykaa opens second Bengaluru store this month

Multi-brand beauty retailer Nykaa has opened its second brick-and-mortar retail store in Bengaluru this month and fourth in the city overall as it speeds up its offline expansion.

After having opened a Nykaa Luxe flagship store in Bengaluru’s Forum Shantiniketan Mall in Hoodi on April 8, the brand announced the opening of another store in the city on April 27 on Lavelle Road. The beauty brand is speeding up its offline retail expansion as part of its plan to reach a total of 90 brick-and-mortar stores by 2020. 

The new Lavelle Road Nykaa Luxe store features a number of international beauty brands including Estée Lauder, Clinique, Bobbi Brown, and Huda Beauty. The store also features a wide selection of Nykaa’s own brand products which retail at a more affordable price. The store features the classic Nykaa Luxe black interiors and opened with a promotion of Nykaa’s own brand’s new line of ultra matte lipsticks. 

Falguni Nayar launched Nykaa in 2012 as an online multi-brand beauty retailer. The brand opened its first brick-and-mortar retail outlet in Indira Gandhi International Airport in November 2015 and now boasts stores in many of India’s metros. The brand has also expanded into the fast growing men’s grooming category and launched a separate e-commerce site for clothing, Nykaa Fashion.
