Nykaa opens new store in Bhubaneswar

On Tuesday, multi-brand beauty retailer Nykaa expanded its presence in the state of Odisha by opening a Nykaa On Trend store to retail its popular, youth centred brands in Bhubaneswar.

Nykaa’s latest brick-and-mortar store opened its doors in Bhubaneswar’s Galleria Mall in Gautam Nagar with a range of international and Indian brands chosen for their popularity on Nykaa’s e-commerce store. The On Trend outlet has dedicated sections for makeup, skincare, and fragrances, as well as a space for Nykaa’s private label brand Nykaa Cosmetics and its latest collections, the business announced on Facebook.

The store, which opened with a promotion to offer customers a gift voucher with purchases totalling above Rs 2,500 ($34.26), packs a large number of brands into its small, modern space. Huda Beauty, The Balm, Kay Beauty, Tony Moly, and Maybelline all feature along with E.L.F -- a brand Nykaa recently launched in India on its online platform.

Nykaa restarted its brick-and-mortar expansion after lockdown regulations lifted last winter. Other recent store launches include Thrissur, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Thiruvananthapuram, as well as apparel segment Nykaa Fashion’s first store in Delhi. The brand is also eyeing an initial public offering, which could launch as soon as the end of the year.
