Nykaa opens new On Trend store in Lucknow

On July 4, multi-brand beauty retailer Nykaa opened a new store in Lucknow’s Phoenix Palassio Mall. The ‘On Trend’ store focuses on youth-oriented and popular makeup products.

As malls begin to reopen across India as part of local lockdowns easing, Nykaa has restarted its brick-and-mortar expansion with a new address in Lucknow’s Gomti Nagar Extension, the brand announced on Facebook. The store launched on Sunday with dedicated segments for cosmetics and skincare.
 
The store’s featured beauty brands, chosen for their strong performance on Nykaa’s e-commerce store, include Huda Beauty, United Colors of Benetton, and Elf Cosmetics. Skincare brands with dedicated displays in the new store include Korean brands, Tony Moly, and The Face Shop, U.S. brand, Mario Badescu, and Indian-owned, Canada-based brand, Dot & Key. 

The bright, open space also includes numerous segments dedicated to Nykaa’s own-brand offerings including its cosmetics and skincare lines. Nykaa’s new Wanderlust line also launched in the store, featuring bath and body products including scented lotions, shower gel, body scrubs and butters, body milks, and fragrance mists, among others. 
 
Prior to the Covid-19 pandemic, Nykaa was swiftly expanding its already sizeable number of stores across the country, opening in increasingly rural locations and launching kiosks as a new retail model. Prior to the recent state lockdowns for the second wave of the virus, the business had opened retail outlets this year in Ranchi, Bhubaneswar, and Mumbai.
