Nykaa opens Luxe store in Goa

Multi-brand beauty retailer Nykaa opened a Nykaa Luxe store in Panjim, North Goa, on December 7 with featured brands including Bobbi Brown and and Estée Lauder.  

As Nykaa continues its omani-channel expansion across India, it has opened its first “Luxe” store in Goa, the brand announced on Facebook. The store retails a range of brands including Huda Beauty, Bobbi Brown, Estée Lauder, Clinique, MAC Cosmetics, Glam Glow, and Farsali among others. 

The new store is located inside Panjim’s Hotel Park Plaza and features Nykaa’s classic Luxe store design of a bright interior, islands within the store dedicated to brands, and a dedicated section for its private label offerings. 

Nykaa aims to open around 180 Luxe and On Trend stores over the next five years. The brand is also opening kiosks in select malls across India to allow to it launch in new locations with a smaller investment than a full-size store. 

The brand had already opened a Nykaa On Trend store in Goa which houses its most popular cosmetic products and targets a millennial audience. Nykaa Luxe stores focus on more high-end products from international brands but also feature Nykaa’s own private label offerings.  

Nykaa was founded by Falguni Nayar in 2012 and has become one of India’s largest beauty retailers and the business also runs a dedicated fashion e-commerce site. The business recently announced breakeven and plans to self-fund its next round of retail expansion, which will cover tier 2 cities.
