Nykaa opens Luxe store in Delhi’s Pacific Mall

Multi-brand beauty retailer Nykaa opened a Nykaa Luxe store in New Delhi’s Pacific Mall on April 24 marking its fifth in the capital so far. 

The new Nykaa Luxe store marks the brand’s latest launch as it works towards reaching a total of 90 brick-and-mortar retail stores by 2020. After opening another store in Bengaluru on April 8, Nykaa opened its second store of the month in Delhi as it speeds up its offline retail expansion pace.

The new store in Pacific Mall features a selection of the brands available on Nykaa’s e-commerce site. Special product displays have been created for Estée Lauder, Clinique, Bobbi Brown, Givenchy, and Revolution and a space is also dedicated to fragrances. The sleek black storefront features Nykaa’s own brand, Laneige, and Huda Beauty. 

Nykaa Luxe stores focus on international makeup brands where On Trend stores feature popular products from a wider array of brands. Nykaa’s swift retail expansion is a testament to both the brand’s growth and the growth of India’s beauty market as a whole. 

Nykaa was founded by Falguni Nayar in 2012. The brand’s name is derived from the Sanskrit word “Nayaka” which means “actress” or “one in the spotlight” and the brand has swiftly expanded from an e-commerce site to an omni-channel beauty giant.
