Nykaa opens first Luxe store in Surat

On January 19, multi-brand beauty retailer Nykaa opened its first premium brand-focused 'Luxe; store in Surat’s VR Mall in Gujarat, as the brand expands into tier 2 locations.
The new Nykaa Luxe store in Surat features a number of dedicated sections for Indian and international premium beauty brands. Estée Lauder, Clinique, Mac Cosmetics, Glam Glow, Burberry, and Bulgari all feature in-store with a mix of cosmetics, skincare, and fragrances.
Bobbi Brown, celebrating its third year retailing in India with Nykaa, launched in-store in Surat with a range of promotions. Huda Beauty, which is currently celebrating its second anniversary of retailing with Nykaa with a number of promotional offers, also has a dedicated in-store section.
Nykaa’s own private label products also feature in the store. The brand is continuing to expand its private label offerings with recent launches including skincare and perfume products. Bollywood actor Katrina Kaif’s new brand Kay by Katrina also features in-store with its latest launch, colour correcting and contour sticks.
Launched by entrepreneur Falguni Nayar in 2012, Nykaa has expanded across India and is now opening stores in a wide range of non-metro locations to cater to growing rural demand for branded cosmetics.
Other tier 2 cities Nykaa has recently expanded into include Raipur and Bhubaneshwar. The brand is also expanding into some tier 3 cities, contributing to the increasing organisation of the beauty market.
