Nykaa opens 100th store in Bengaluru
Multi-brand beauty retailer Nykaa reached a milestone of 100 brick-and-mortar stores with the opening of its new Nykaa ‘On Trend’ store dedicated to popular and youth-oriented products at HSR Bangalore.
Nykaa’s new location in Bengaluru opened on the occasion of International Women’s Day, the brand announced in a press release on March 10. The new On Trend store features a wide selection of Nykaa’s private label brands including Nykaa Cosmetics, Nykaa Naturals, Kay Beauty, and Dot & Key, as well as international brands including Charlotte Tilbury, Jo Malone London, Too Faced, Murad, Nuxe, and Sulwhasoo, among others.
“From store one to hundred, our confidence in the power of the omni-channel model has remained strong and continues to grow,” said Nykaa’s CEO of e-commerce beauty Anchit Nayar in a press release. “With innovation and agility at the heart of our business, Nykaa is constantly exploring newer pin codes for our retail stores to deepen our reach and to make shopping online and offline entirely seamless. Our focus remains on delivering on-trend, authentic products in line with the ever-evolving consumer behaviour and beauty trends. This has enabled us to secure the trust of consumers and we are humbled to witness their loyalty across all our points of sale for nearly a decade.”
Nykaa launched in 2012 and opened its first brick-and-mortar store in Delhi Airport’s T3 terminal in 2014. Nykaa now has a network of stores across 45 Indian cities, with over half of these being tier 2 and 3 cities.
