Nykaa Luxe opens first store in Bengaluru, plans 30 stores by 2020

Nykaa, India’s largest multi-brand e-commerce beauty platform -- as part of its omni-channel strategy -- has opened its first luxe physical store at VR Mall, Bengaluru as the company plans to take its offline store count to 30 by 2020.
 

The Nykaa Luxe store is located on the ground floor of VR Mall, spread over 650 square feet and houses international brands like Estée Lauder, Clinique, L’Occitane, Ciaté, L.A. Girl and other popular brands including private labels from Nykaa.
 
“With our omni-channel strategy we will be available at every touch point for our customers. We want to give them the ease to shop a product at their convenience and comfort, whether through online or while visiting a store. The success of our e-commerce store has given us a keen understanding of our customers, who trust our choice and offer,” ssaid Founder and CEO, Nykaa.com, Falguni Nayar in a press release.

The company is planning to add 25 Nykaa luxe stores across India to take its store count to 30 by 2020, the statement added.
 
Currently there are five Nykaa Luxe stores across India including popular shopping destinations like Infiniti Mall – Mumbai, VR Bengaluru and Khan Market – New Delhi.
 
Nykaa had reported a net revenue of Rs 214 crore and gross merchandise value (GMV) of Rs 275 crore for the financial year 2016-17.
