Nykaa Fashion launches Gap on platform

Multi-brand online fashion retailer Nykaa Fashion has launched US-based casual wear brand Gap on its platform with a collection of casual and lounge wear designs.

Nykaa added Gap’s womenswear line to the growing list of international brands on its platform on May 27, it announced on Facebook. The brand launched with a ‘buy one get one free’ offer on select items.
 
Gap clothing now available on Nykaa Fashion includes logo t-shirts, jeans, shirts, and dresses among other casual designs. Perhaps to cater to shoppers staying at home under lockdown, a wide range of Gap lounge wear is also available including sweat pants and jersey pieces.

The e-commerce store has resumed deliveries of all products in most locations. Previously, Nykaa could only retail essential goods such as personal care products. The business has also begun selling personal protective equipment online including face masks and gloves. 
 
Over 1,500 Nykaa employees donated one-day’s salary to the PM-Cares Fund and the family of Nykaa founder Falguni Nayar matched all donations to reach a total of almost Rs 1 crore ($135,000), the business announced on Facebook. Nykaa has also donated rations and care packages to its warehouse workers, security personnel, and local government authorities during lockdown.
