Nykaa Fashion launches dedicated menswear section on website and app
Multi-brand online fashion retailer Nykaa Fashion has launched a dedicated segment for men on its e-commerce platform and its shopping app, as it increases its focus on the menswear market.
Nykaa Fashion originally launched as a womenswear retailer, as its parent company Nykaa launched as a women’s cosmetics retailer. Now, as Nykaa launched male grooming products in 2018, Nykaa Fashion has now stepped into men’s apparel and accessories.
Nykaa Fashion’s menswear offerings include apparel, footwear, accessories, sportswear, and eyewear. The segment stocks over 60 Indian and international brands including Raymond, Adidas, Skechers, Pepe Jeans, Hidesign, Louis Phillipe, and Gap, among others.
“It has long been the vision of Nykaa to bring the pillars of our brands - curation, content and convenience -- to both women and men across India,” said the business’ chief marketing officer, Anchit Nayar, at the launch, IndiaRetailing reported.
“With the launch of our men’s category of fashion products on Nykaa Fashion and our already existing grooming offer on Nykaa Man, men across India will be able to shop for all their lifestyle needs at Nykaa with a guarantee of 100% authenticity, as well as exciting content to discover new trends and products.”
Entrepreneur Falguni Nayar launched Nykaa online in 2012, and later stepped into brick-and-mortar retail. The business now counts over 73 stores across India and stocks over 1,500 brands.
