Nykaa brings U.S. brand Sigma Beauty to India
The multi-brand beauty retailer Nykaa has launched the U.S. brand Sigma on its e-commerce site with a new range of makeup accessories.
Nykaa launched Sigma on May 31 on its e-commerce store. The Indian beauty giant has brought the US-based brand to India and has launched a wide range of its beauty brushes, beauty blenders, and makeup brush cleaning tools as it adds yet another international brand to its roster.
Nykaa launched the brand online with 43 different product offerings including the brand’s Beauty 3DHD Blender, Basic Eyes Kit, Air Flat Kabuki Brush, Tapered Blending Brush, and the Essential Trio Brush Set, which has already sold out.
Nykaa has launched a large number of international cosmetics brands online recently including Dyson, Etude House, Spekta, Crown, Temptu Pro, Algotherm, Sukin, Akiva, Embryolisse, and Coco Soul among others. Nykaa also recently launched Nykaa Naturals as a private label range of chemical-free skincare.
Nykaa, founded by Falguni Nayar in 2012, has been pursuing an increasingly omni-channel approach since it opened its first brick-and-mortar store in 2015.
Some of the brand’s recent store launches include Kolkata, Bengaluru, and Chandigarh and its current retail expansion plan is to reach a total of 90 offline stores by 2020.
