Nona Lifestyle raises $1.4 million in Pre-Series A funding, plans international expansion

Nona Lifestyle has raised $1.4 million in a Pre-Series A funding round. The textile supply startup plans to use the capital to develop a marketplace platform and backend technology.

The funding round featured investments from venture capital business LC Nueva among others, the business announced in a media release. Following the investment, Nona Lifestyle plans to expand its footprint both in India and abroad. The business is currently present in India in Gurugram and Bengaluru and plans to expand into other metros. Internationally, the business is present in Dubai and plans to enter the European market. 
 
“We are grateful to the investors for their support,” said Nona Lifestyle co-founder Ankit Rajput, ET Retail reported. “With this investment, our major focus will be to incorporate technological advancements. This way, the delivery turnaround time and quality of products will improve, and we will be able to scale our business by serving a huge customer base globally.”

“The funding will help us [move] one step closer to our goal- global expansion, introducing innovations and tech advancements in our offerings to meet customers’ demands,” said business co-founder Hari Mishra. 
 
Rajput and Mishra founded Nona Lifestyle in 2016 with the aim of organising the customised textile merchandise market. The business specialises in uniforms and safety wear and has counted over 100 business-to-business clients to date.
