Noise plans to expand internationally into countries with a similar consumer demographic as India. The smart wearables brand also plans to expand its product selection and is eyeing an eyewear launch.
“Through our device, we are solving problems and providing an experience for a specific kind of audience, and we would want to serve a similar kind of audience going forward,” Noise’s co-founder and chief executive Gaurav Khatri told ET Retail. “So, those markets which have a similar geography or similar demography, those are the kinds of audience that we aim to target.”
Cousins Gaurav Khatri and Amit Khatri founded Noise in 2014 as a startup retailing mobile phone cases. The business evolved into manufacturing smart wearables in 2018 and has reached an annual revenue run rate of Rs 2,000 crore in the 2023 financial year. The business reported a revenue total exceeding Rs 800 crore in the 2022 financial year and expects revenue growth to continue this fiscal.
The brand plans to continue to expand its product selection to tap into new markets and offer a comprehensive lifestyle solution. Noise is currently in talks with brands including Bragi with the aim of launching products such as smart glasses in the near future, according to Khatri.
