“Over the last few weeks, we've seen brands (small and big), individuals (the young and the old), and people both in India and around the globe coming together with so much heart and humaneness that it was humbling and uplifting,” the brand announced on Facebook to launch the initiative.

“In the beginning, when things started to take a turn for the worse and the news kept getting grimmer, we felt helpless, anxious and exhausted. Few of our colleagues got covid and are still in recovery. But now, we feel hopeful and determined! Determined to get past this, and do our bit. Together.”

The brand also recently completed its ‘No Nasties 10x’ campaign to celebrate the the brand’s tenth birthday. For every product bought, No Nasties promised to plant ten trees for the month of April. The brand planted over 10,000 trees in the first three weeks April, surpassing its target, it announced on Facebook.

No Nasties has manufactured 100% organic cotton t-shirts for over ten years and also retails a range of other menswear and womenswear. The brand is based in Goa and works with a farmers’ cooperative and fair-trade factory to make its garments.
