Nivea strengthens leadership team with two new appoitments

Nivea India has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Sunil Gadgil as marketing director and Ashish Joshi as their new sales director.

In their new roles, Gadgil will lead the marketing division to further strengthen the brand’s position as the leading skincare brand in the country while as sales director Joshi will be responsible to drive the company’s growth.

Commenting on his new role, Sunil Gadgil in a statement said, “I am thrilled to be returning to Nivea India, it feels like returning to where it all started. With my prior experience in the region, and my exposure to the global skincare market as global marketing director at Beiersdorf, I am excited to combine the best of both worlds and contribute to the brand's continued success in India.”

Ashish Joshi added, “Drawing on my extensive and in-depth knowledge of the Sales function, I am eager to bring renewed energy and vigour to the team, and to collaborate closely to achieve our ambitious growth targets. I am confident that, together with our workforce as well as trade partners, we can build on the brand's strong foundation and drive growth to new heights.”

Gadgil and Joshi have a combined experience of around 30 years in the field of sales and marketing. They have led various brand portfolios both in India as well as globally for Nivea.
