Nivea partners with Swiggy, Zomato to strengthen delivery network
Leading skincare brand Nivea India has partnered with online food aggregators, Swiggy and Zomato, to strengthen its delivery network across India during the lockdown.
With these partnerships, Swiggy and Zomato will set up 'Nivea Care Shop' on their platforms through which consumers will be able to order essential products.
The service is currently available in over 30 cities, including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Jaipur, Bhopal, Indore, Raipur, Kanpur, and others. Nivea plans to further scale this up to more than 100 cities in the coming weeks.
Commenting on the partnerships, Nivea India sales director, Sailesh Viswanathan, in a statement said: “As a responsible skincare brand, this initiative reinforces our commitment to ensuring that our consumers have uninterrupted access to their daily hygiene essentials. In times of crisis, we stand together and work together to ensure the safety of the consumers by delivering products safely and directly to their doorsteps.”
Nivea has stated that its delivery partners will follow all the guidelines issued by the government. The delivery riders delivering these products are required to wear masks, practice regular washing and sanitising of hands and temperature checks.
The company will also offer cashless transactions and contactless deliveries to consumers shopping on these platforms.
