New brand Pace Active expands activewear line
Recently launched women’s activewear brand Pace Active is rapidly expanding its product lines and working on increasing sustainability in its production process.
Launched online this summer, Pace Active has added to its core collection of leggings, sports bras, and other workout wear with a 51-piece ‘Capsule’ line of matching sets in complimentary colours. The brand has also recently launched a 37-piece ‘Gloss’ line of shiny spandex leggings, tops, and sports bras, the brand announced on Facebook.
Tapping into the athleisure trend, which was further boosted by the pandemic, the brand offers a range of asymmetric and layered tops and leggings designed to bridge the gap between sports and casual wear. The brand has developed three performance textiles for its initial launch: ‘performance gloss’, ‘performance mesh’, and ‘core compression’. Currently, Pace Active retails from its dedicated e-commerce store.
The brand is also working on becoming more sustainable. “We are not perfect,” Pace Active announced on Facebook. “We are on a journey towards becoming more sustainable and have set goals and timelines to get there. Every day counts and we are continuously innovating and improving our design process to better ourselves and eventually reach a considered design."
"Wherever possible, we use GRS-certified Recycled Polyester in our clothing– with no compromise on quality and functionality," said the brand.
"All our fabrics are OEKO-TEX certified which means they are free of harmful chemicals, hence minimising harmful production impacts on the environment, with the added advantage of being extremely soft on the skin.”
