A new London-based fashion platform offering couture at "democratic prices" has debuted on the Paris Couture Week circuit, in line with the global launch of its e-commerce site.

Couturissimo, designed by Asian Couture Federation (ACF) designer members Indonesia's Sebastian Gunawan and Dubai-based Filipino couturier Michael Cinco, offers limited-edition pieces from a changing roster of designers at accessible prices ranging from 170 to 800 euros.

Its new website will soon add a virtual fitting room, "where customers can create their own avatar based on their measurements to test garment fits," announced co-creative director Livia Stoianova of label On Aura Tout Vu.

While the number of lines to come out per year is still to be defined, the roster is expected to include various international couturiers, with the next guest designers to be announced at an event in London in September.
