Netsurf’s Rang Dé range includes lip colour palettes, concealer palettes, and kajal pencil, among others. The products are priced between Rs 500 ($7) to Rs 2000.

To connect with a wide range of consumesr, Rang Dé has partnered with tribal artists from across India for its packaging, which will showcase Indian tribal art forms like Madhubani, Tikuli, Bhil, and Warli.

Commenting on the launch, Sujit Jain, founder and managing director of Netsurf Communications, in a statement said: “We have seen a significant shift in consumer behaviour, as the women today are increasingly environment-conscious and well-informed about the side-effects of chemical-based make-up products on the skin. Given this insight and the subsequent demand, we decided to introduce Rang Dé, a herbal and skin-friendly range of cosmetics designed to suit Indian skin-tones.”

“At Netsurf, we are proud of our Indian heritage and believe in giving back to our communities; our brand Rang Dé is based on this philosophy. We work with tribal women to bring alive the traditional Indian art forms in our packaging and are striving to end period-poverty for them,” he added.

Netsurf is one of the leading players in India’s billion-dollar direct-selling market, which is currently dominated by Amway.

Netsurf has been investing on the expansion of its product portfolio to make deeper inroads in this segment. The company currently has more the 50,000 active distributors under its fold.
