Net-à-Porter names print magazine

Online luxury retailer Net-à-Porter’s new publishing division has christened its first ever print publication, Porter. The consumer magazine will launch in February 2014 and will be available globally via newsstands and subscription. The company will publish ix editions a year.

Heading up the publication is Lucy Yeomans, formally of Harper’s Bazaar UK, who also edits the company’s weekly digital offering, The Edit. Of the print publication, Yeomans says: “Porter will not only inspire and inform our reader with world class content but, thanks to the power, expertise and reach of Net-à-Porter, will also offer her the experience and service that she has come to expect, turning inspiration from the page into accessibility within seconds.”

Porter’s pages will be transactional via mobile phone and a new app that has been developed by the company’s in-house mobile team.
