Neeti & Mudita holds 'Covid Relief Week'
From May 5 to 13, womenswear brand Neeti & Mudita is holding ‘Covid Relief Week’ to raise funds for the Hemkunt Foundation and for its workers and their families.
Neeti & Mudita’s Covid-19 fundraising drive will see the brand donate 50% of its total earnings to the Hemkunt Foundation, an NGO which works to provide aid to marginalised sections of society. On Thursday, the foundation opened its new 500-patient oxygen centre, it announced on Twitter.
The brand will use the other 50% of its earnings to support its workers and their families.
“With all retail channels working at minimum capacity, a small homegrown business like ours continues to take a hit,” the brand announced on Facebook.
“Hence, we would like to use the sales week as a medium to raise money to cover salaries and pay it toward our frontline staff as well as Covid-affected people. We look forward to receiving your full support during these difficult times.”
Friends Neeti and Mudita launched their eponymous brand in 2015 after both pursuing careers in the retail industry. The brand retails an array of opulent occasion wear, as well as fusion and ready-to-wear in a range of multi-brand boutiques.
