Lulla’s Vrindavan Symphony collection mixed together a number of traditional Indian embellishment techniques and updated them for the modern bride. Zardosi and floral motifs using thread work and sequins adorned lehengas, blouses, and sarees and the colour palette ranged from soft pastels to bright, regal reds.

The collection had a focus on destination weddings and, this season, Lulla was concerned with “offering a contemporary touch to a traditional bridal ensemble,” the brand posted on Facebook.

“The collection is a multitude of colours, a grandiose of floral designs and motifs, which are apt for bridals and other wedding occasions for the bride and her family,” wrote Lulla.

The Fashion Connect India was presented by First India, choreographed by Lokesh Sharma, and curated by Rishee Migllani. The event took place at Jaipur’s Mor Banquet and Resort earlier in the month.

Other brands that participated in the event included Togs, Koch and Co., Baley Fashion by Rehan, Bani Pasricha, Haneet Singh, and Kshitija Rana.
