Neeru's opens new store in Hyderabad

Men’s and women’s ethnic wear brand Neeru’s has opened a 6,000 square foot store in Hyderabad’s Vanasthalipuram at Chintalkunta, L. B. Nagar. The new store strengthens the brand’s retail presence in Telangana. 

“Neeru’s is now open at Vanasthalipuram, a plush 6,000 square feet of ethnic, daily, occasion and wedding wear paradise,” wrote Neeru’s managing director Avnish Kumar in a post on Linkedin to announce the new opening. “The store comprises an entire range of sarees, ready-to-wear suits, unstitched suits, lehengas, kurtas, kids’ wear, and more.”

Neeru’s counts 46 exclusive brand outlets across India and also has a presence in 74 multi-brand outlets, India Retailing reported. The brand’s main retail presence is in Hyderabad where it operates over 20 stores across the city. Neeru’s has also opened an international store in Dubai at Meena Bazaar Market.

Neeru’s recently launched its summer collection of occasion wear for hot weather weddings and festivities, the brand announced on Facebook. The collection features highly embellished suits for men and brightly hued lehengas and kurtas for women. 

Mother and son duo Basant Kaur and Harish Kumar established Neeru’s in Hyderabad in 1971. The brand opened its first exclusive brand outlet in 1979 called ‘Neeru Emporium’. The business then established ‘Neeru’s Textiles’ in 1983 and moved into wholesale fabric supply, according to the brand’s website.
