Neeru's opens in Santacruz, Mumbai

Neeru’s has just opened its first store in Mumbai and the brand celebrated with a party hosted by the company Director, Avnish Kumar.

The traditional wear label Neeru’s first Mumbai store opened with a bang a few days ago in the city’s Santacruz district which is increasingly home to a variety of shops. “We are delighted to open our first store in Mumbai. Our collection rejoices the finest craftsmanship and grandeur of luxurious fabrics with just perfect blend of traditional Indian finery with contemporary styles,” said Kumar at the event.

Some of the guests who attended the opening party included the Bollywood celebrities and Mumbai fashion industry players such as Karisma Kapoor, Amrita Arora, Neeta and Nishka Lulla, Soha Ali Khan, Priya Banerjee, Gauahar Khan, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Dino Morea, and Sophie Chaudry. Guests browsed the new store and sampled Neeru’s latest collection and had photo sessions in a studio area. Industry professionals such as investment bankers such as Gaurav Deepak, Abha Aggarwal, and Amit Dhingra and retailers such as Rakesh Biyani and Vijay Sampath also attended the opening.

Neeru’s recently appointed the actress Sonam Kapoor as their new brand ambassador and are currently rolling out advertising campaigns featuring her. The brand was founded in 1971 and specialises in men’s and women’s traditional and wedding attire. The brand also has an e-commerce store alongside its brick and mortar outlets.
